Saving small child’s life from fire
In 1910 A.D. baba was sitting near Dhuni & pushing firewood into Dhuni. Suddenly he put his hand into the Dhuni & hand burned.... Madhav Phasle & Shama noticed this at once they ran towards baba & clasped baba by his waists from the behind & drag as shown in picture & told “ Deva, what have you done?” then baba come to his sense & replied “the wife of Blacksmith working near the fire along with small child at her back while working she was forgotten that her child was on her waist, she ran hastily & child slipped in to the furnace. Immediately thrust my hand into the furnace & save the child. & Not worried about my hand but I am glad that the life of child is saved.
Life saving doctor
Mr. Pitale’s (One of the devotees) son was suffering from different type of disease. He tried medicine but could not cure & hopes his survivals. One day he brought son in front of baba at Dwarkamai as soon as baba saw him, he started omitting & within few hours he recovered.
Baba knows past, present & future
One-day baba was returning from lendibag to Dwarkamai. He saw a flock of goats out of this two of them attracted his attentions & he purchased them for Rs.32/- from ... shepherds. Tatya Khote & Shama were very much surprised of his bargaining sense. Why baba paid Rs. 32/- instead of Rs.2. & Baba told them to purchase 4 sher of dal & feed it to goats. Afterward baba returned to the shepherds. On the question of devotees why do you do like this? Baba replied I have not received by the shepherd but these goats. They were brother in their last birth & loving each other but later becomes enemy. Elder was idle & younger was active chap. Hence elder become too greedy & jealous. They forgot their relationship & began to quarrel. One day elder gave a deadly blow with a big stick on younger head. & Younger struck the elder with an axe & fell dead on the spot. As a result of their action, they were born as a goat & when I saw them I taking pity on them & feed them for this reason. & I sent them back as you didn’t like my bargain.
You can see in baba as your guru in any form.
From the past experience/ history it was observed that all devotees see baba in place of their god/ guru. One of the Mule Shastri from Nashik visited to Shirdi to see the Bapusaheb booty.... Shastri was a well-learned, educated, orthodox agnihotri bramhin. Since Mule was well known in ‘Palm Shastra’ & want to examine the baba’s hand. However he requested baba to show his hand but baba ignore & offer him some fruits. Afterwards Mule Shastri went to Wada & started his daily routines. Before going to lendibag baba informed other devotees please take some ‘geru’ but none of them understood the baba’s reason. Before starting the arati bapusaheb asked Mule Shastri please accompany for the arati. Shastri replied that he would see the baba in the afternoon. As soon as arati commences the baba said “get some dakshina from the new Nashik Bramhin”. Booty himself went to the Wada to get the dakshina & baba’s message. The Shastri was surprised he thought in his mind I am a pure agnihotri bramhin why should I pay dakshina? Baba may be a great saint I am not his dependant. I being a great saint he could not refused so he left his place in his routine uniform & started with booty to the masjid thinking himself holy & sacred & the masjid otherwise remain at a distance & stared throwing flowers at baba. Suddenly he saw his late guru Gholapswami as you are watching in picture. He wondered & surprised, as he was a wide-awake. Considering this is a dream he pinched himself but guruswami picture remain same. Then he went up near the baba’s place & fell at his guru’s feet & then getting up stood there with folded hand. Other people sang baba’s arati while Shastri chanting his guru’s arati. He fell flat at his guru’s feet & closed his eyes when he got up & opened his eyes he saw baba’s asking for dakshina. Seeing baba’s blissful form he was extremely pleased again saluted to baba & gave the dakshina.
You will find baba’s word is a medicine/ power/ blessing
One of the devotees suffering from eyes for file his eyes was swollen; being no specialist is available at that time in Shirdi he went to baba.... & Requested for remedy. Baba founded some biba was lying there. He made two balls of them & thrust them on each eyes of patient & wrapped a cloth around the eye. Next day the band was removed & water was poured from the eyes like a stream from the patient’s eyes. As swollen was disappear & pupil becomes white and clear.
Biba is very harmful for human eyes for remove swelling different type of element are available. But here medicine is nothing but baba’s words.
What guru can do/ Guru’s miracle
Doctors also have to believe on god. He cannot find out his destination / solve the problem/ give future vision.
One of the doctor Pillai who always used to give the company baba & used to seek his site ...& often baba used to consult him in all the matters & he was suffered very badly from guinea warms (Naru).... He tried all medicine but could not subsidies his pain. Hence he informed Kakasaheb Dixit to inform baba “ I am not able to bare the pain Hence give me death. I know about past karma & ready to bear in future. Then Dixit told baba. Baba said to Dixit ‘tell him to be fearless why should he suffer for 10 birth in 10 days. He can work out the suffering & consequences of his past karma. While I am here to give him temporarily & spiritually welfare why should he pray for death, bring him here on somebody back.
Then doctor brought, baba gave him his bolster & said lie calmly here & be at ease. The true remedy is that the result of past actions has to be suffered and got over. Our karma is the cause of our happiness and sorrow; therefore, put up with whatever comes to you. Allah (god) is the sole Dispenser & Protector, think of him always. He will take care of you. Surrender to his feet with body, mind, wealth said in return that Nanasaheb had put a bandage over the leg, but he found no relief. “Nana is a fool,” replied baba. “Take off that bandage or else you will die. Now a crow will come and peck you, and then you will recover.
While this discussion going on as usual on of devotee Abdul came to near doctor Pillay’s place for cleaned & trimmed the lamp while he was attending to his work his foot accidentally fell upon the stretch leg of Dr. Pillay as you are watching in picture. Due to swollen leg he pressed it all & the seven guinea worms were squeezed out at once. This pain was unbeaten. & Doctor Pillay shouted loudly & afterwards he started singing & crying then baba said “Now you will be all right. Now crow will not come again. Now go & rest yourself in Wada”
One Roti One Child
One landowner staying in Kandesh having lot of wealth but was not happy, due to no child shown in his horoscope. One day beggar was going from street shouting “ONE ROTI ONE CHILD” on hearing this... the landlord’s wife came running and called him and offered not only one but four roti’s. After few years the lady was mother of four children. One day that same beggar came to their home and said he has come from shirdi “ONE ROTI ONE CHILD” she immediately called him inside, gave him food and cloth. The landlord then visited shirdi where he saw Lord Sai Baba's statute there and he saw that it was the same person visited him as beggar.
Baba’s Udi
Dr.Talwalkar was visiting shirdi since long time. He was having Baba’s udi. He started his practice in Indore, he used to carry out puja early in morning and then used to go to his dispensary. One day a serious patient approached him, he checked and found he will live for few hours only.... Doctor could not find any solution for it so he prayed in front of Baba’s photo and took a bottle full of water mixed with Baba’s udi. He told the patients family members to give this water every three hours give this dose pudhi. After two dose the patient started recovering and doctor could start his treatment. The patient offered lot of wealth to doctor but he said you survived because of Baba’s udi so if you wish to give some wealth donate it to Sai Baba’s Mandir at Shirdi. This incident took place in 1997.
How Baba saved child from plague
Mr. & Mrs. Khaparde were staying at Shirdi along with their son. One day their son got high fever & further developed into bubonic plague. The mother was frightened. She wanted to go to her native place... ‘Amaravati’ & approached baba for the permission & informed baba about here child's condition. Baba told her “ the sky is full of cloud but they will melt & pass of & then sky will be clear so you should not worried about your child. Immediately he left up his kafni up to the waist & showed to all presence four fully developed buboes as big as eggs & added “ see how I have to suffer for my devotees, their difficulties are mine. After waiting all this all devotee convinced & confirmed that baba can do anything for his devotees for saving their life.
Baba had future vision
All casts & religion people/ devotee visits to Shirdi for blessing. One European gentlemen who was servicing in Bombay came to Shirdi along with introductory note from Nanasaheb Chandolkar.... He wanted to kneel before baba & kiss his hand. He tied to step in to the masjid but baba prevented & informed to sit down in open yard & take the darshan from there. European gentleman was not happy about this response & he wanted to leave Shirdi at once & came to baba to bid goodbye. Baba told him please don’t go in hurry, go next day. People also requested to him to obey baba’s order. Being European he left Shirdi in a tanga. First the horse ran well, but when ‘sawul well’ was passed bicycle came in front, on seeing which the horses were frightened & ran fast. The tanga was turned topsy-turvy & the gentlemen fell down. As indicated in the picture. He was immediately admitted in ‘Korpagaon’ hospital for treatment of his injury. Such a type of experience came across & so many people suffer who do not obey his order in short, baba knows future vision.
Baba & Tiger
Before seven days of Baba's death a tiger climbed the steps of Dwarkamai , he saw Lord Sai Baba's face and observed powerful rays entering his body. He immediately bowed before him and started waving his tail. Due to lord Saibaba's blessing he was relived from his past karma and died after sometime.
Baba's Kakad Aarti
In this picture it seems that Lord Shri Saibaba sleeping and monitoring the world. Human point of view Saibaba left his body (died). Here Saibaba informs Laxamanmama in his dreams "Get up and come I am not sleeping, but i am dead,... so are you coming to perform my kakad aarti". Hearing this he came and offered kakad aarti in very sad mood and left the place after sometime.
