Old Construction of Samadhi Mandir

This mandir was built by Babusaheb Dixit approximately in the year 1916.The plan, buildings construction, location of the doors was carried our as per the direction/instruction given by Lord Sai Baba. From 1918 onwards till 1922 hardly few devotees used to visit Shridi and about once in a week. Some of the devotees used to carry out the holy bath in the samadhi and very often used to offer yellowship coloured flowers and after 1922 Kaka Saheb Dixit from Sai Baba's established trust which ws approved by the Ahmednager district court. In the Beginning Abula used to carry out all the daily activities (like Puja and Aarcha etc). Before the temple was built Baba appeared in Babusaheb Dixit and Madhav(Shama's) dreams in the same night and at same time and instructed them to build the temple.

(I) The next day they both got up early in the morning and exchanged their dreams with each other and finally decided to ask Baba about this matter.

(II)
Baba after listening to them at first innocently by holding his ears simply answered that "I don't know anything about this matter". And ultimately explain them and gave permission to build the temple .During the construction Baba used to visit the site very often and used to give instructions like to make the doors at particular places in the temple .So,accordingly the doors were made, there are about six doors three on the rigth hand side and three on the left hand side(Baba suggested these changes so that in future his devotees can take Darshan (sigth) without shoving/very easily).
On 15th October 1918 approximately at 2:15 p.m Baba letf for his heavenly bode, before leaving this world Baba asked his devotees to take him to Buttiwada as indicated in "Shri Sai Charitra".

Lendiaug

This is a very important place from the human point of view. This place was formerly used by Shri Sai Baba for answering natures calls.Baba he himself used to water plants also used to plant trees. At this place devotees come to get rid of the evil powers from them they do it by (Circumambulating) Pradakshina this place. In Lendibaug you will find the Nandadeep (lamp) which burns day and night.I understand that there was a one wodden SOTHA and BABA use to exercise on it. After some time that wooden SOTHA became a form of tree having eight to nine snake like barks. BABA use to give water to the tree by himself. During the time of water shortage BABA had showed the place informed and the devotees to dig well in this place. Within eight to ten feet the devotees got water. The persons who helped to dig the well were Mr. Kaka Saheb Dixit and Mr. Shagun Meru Nayeke and etc. Generally this place was famous for solving big problems/ difficulties, of this place peoples carried out pradakshinas. In this baug you can find the Nandedeep (Lamp) which burns day and night.

Guru Sthan

This means the place of abode of the Guru ( preceptor ) but who knows who was the Guru of Shri Baba. The Devotees think that Shri Sai Baba is the reincarnation of Shri Datta. The first time when Baba was seen in Shirdi, he was found under the Neem tree which is behind the ' Samadhi Mandir '. Shri Baba always used to say that it was the place of his precetor. He every Thursday and Friday will earn happiness. Below this Neem tree there is small temple in which are placed the ' PADUKA ' of Shri Sai Baba. The branches of the Neem tree have penetrated through the roof of this temple. It is really a wonder that the leaves of this Neem tree are not bitter like those of ohter Neem trees. In the Chowk in front of the Gurusthan there is a big vessel. Meant for burning incense. Just opposite to this is the office of the Shirdi Sansthan. The dining hall of the canteen of Shirdi Sansthan are in front of the office. In the Gurusthan there is ' pindi ' of Shri Shankar which was installed by Shri Baba himself.
